The work

01 Drilling a new residential well Siting, permitting through the groundwater district, and the bore itself — cased and grouted to keep surface water out of your drinking water.
02 Pumps, pitless adapters, wellheads Setting a submersible at the right depth, wiring it, and finishing the head so the well is sealed and serviceable years from now.
03 Pressure tanks and the house side Tank, switch and controls sized so the pump is not short-cycling itself to an early death, and so the shower does not surge.

What is under Wimberley

The water here comes out of the Trinity, and the Trinity is not the same from one lot to the next. Depth, yield and how much limestone you have to get through before you find anything all vary across a few hundred yards.

That is the reason a well is not a catalogue item with a fixed price. Somebody who has drilled this valley for years has a much better idea of what your particular piece of it is likely to do — and that is worth more to you than a quote given over email by someone who has not stood on the ground.

New wells in western Hays County are registered with the groundwater conservation district before drilling starts. We handle that paperwork as part of the job.

Licensed, and the numbers to check it

Anyone can say they are licensed. These are the numbers you can look up, published where a customer can actually find them rather than buried at the bottom of the page.
